Campsite Facilities

Everything is set up on site so that you don’t have to leave the festival site all weekend if you don’t want to.

TOILETS
There are toilets in the campsite and arena which are cleaned regularly throughout the weekend.

DRINKING WATER
There are standpipes which provide FREE drinking water in the campsites and arena. We recommend bringing a plastic bottle with you that can you refill – but please don’t bring anything bigger than 1 litre in size. You can also purchase water and other soft drinks from the catering units throughout the site. There are a number of bars throughout the site, including a bar in the campsite – Wakestock operates a Challenge 25 policy so if you look under 25 you will be asked for ID when buying alcohol on site. Wakestock operates a zero tolerance policy towards underage drinking – anyone who is under the age of 18 and caught in possession of alcohol will be ejected from site.

SHOWERS
The showers are open in the campsite between the following times each day:
8am – 12pm
4pm – 10pm
During the times the showers are shut they are serviced and cleaned.
Due to spiralling costs we have had to introduce a small charge per person for use of the showers. If you want to use the showers please pay one of the attendants, who will issue you with a numbered ticket – keep an eye on the number board and then come back and queue when there are five people ahead of you. If you miss your turn you can swap your ticket for a new number.

All of our water has to be tankered into the festival site. Last year we used a whopping 364,000 litres of water during the festival – do your bit and help us keep ticket prices down by turning off the shower after soaping up, then turning it back on to rinse. Did you know a four-minute shower uses approximately 90 to 180 litres of water?
Rub a dub dub!!
RUBBISH
There are plenty of bins provided throughout the site and which are emptied regularly throughout the weekend. Bin bags are provided throughout the campsite, however, as Wakestock takes place by the sea we have huge problems with seagulls ripping bin bags apart and creating even more mess. If you do fill your bin bag with rubbish please place it one of the bins provided, or store it in your tent to help prevent the gulls causing mayhem.

WAKESTOCK SECURE STORAGE
We advise you not to store anything of value in your tent as unfortunately, as at all festivals, thefts do occur in the campsite. You can store your valuables with the secure storage facility which not only offers secure storage but also phone charging throughout the weekend. You can pre-book your secure storage ticket or purchase it when you arrive on site.

FOOD STALLS
There’s a wide variety of food stalls open throughout the festival in both the campsite and main arena.

FAIRGROUND

There’s a mini funfair in the campsite, and a much bigger one in the main arena. Please make sure you secure your valuables securely before going on the rides.

CART-TO-CAMP

Cart-to-camp will be on site this year offering hire of their robust trolleys for you to get all your stuff from the car to the campsite… and back again! The lightweight trolleys are made of steel, have front wheel steerage and their pump up wheels are ideal for rough terrain. They can carry loads of up to 200kg so rather than lugging all your kit and arrive at the campsite a sweaty mess, why not make it easy and rent one of the carts. You’ll find the cart-to-camp staff close to the entrance, look out for their signs! No pre-booking is required but for more information including their rates CLICK HERE

Brand new for this year, Wakestock is bringing you “Camp G” which offers you the chance to camp with your girlfriends in a female only campsite, completely separate from the main campsite for no extra charge. You simply need to buy a weekend camping ticket for the festival and then register for Camp G in advance. To register please CLICK HERE. Pre-registering guarantees you your pitch in Camp G.
