Formed all the long way back in March 2009, Masters In France found themselves in a little shabby unit round the backstreets of Bangor working on their style and songs. Their first Welsh Language EP went on sale back in December 09 and it's called Nagazaki. These guys are sure to be popular with the home crowds.
Pete Lawrie
Born into a family of great musical heritage, Pete Lawrie is being tipped in 2010 as a performer to watch with great interest. Now signed to the Field Recordings imprint of the major label Universal/Island, he is preparing his debut album, A Little Brighter, for release this year. A varied musical education on French Riviera holidays were more important to where he finds himself now than all manner of practical music escapades from trumpet lessons to stints in ska punk bands, he believes .Now firmly ensconced in the live music scene, he has a residency at the Buffalo Bar in his home town of Cardiff called Pete Lawrie & Friends, inviting an artist to headline his night. In October he had Turin Brakes who then returned the favour, inviting Pete on tour with them in March 2010. He is sure to be a popular addition to the line up.
