FRANKIE & THE HEARTSTRINGS are touring this month in support of fellow North-Easterners, The Futureheads. They are a brand new old-fashioned pop band from Sunderland. The five-piece played their first gig a year ago and have been grafting solidly since, writing and rehearsing at night, holding down full-time jobs working in schools, social care and charity shops during the day! The band released their latest single “Tender” last month off the back of the great hit single “Hunger” and its looks like they will be pulling rather dramatically on your fragile little heartstrings right the way through 2010 so look out for them at Wakestock.
