MOBY
Moby is a legend of the festival circuit having performed at over 3,000 concerts. He first began making music at the age of 9. To date he has released 19 albums spanning a 19 year career achieving sales of over 20 million. A DJ, singer-songwriter and producer his musical taste ranges from classical guitar, punk, soul, New York House to Hip-hop. His most successful album to date “Play” sold over 9 million copies. CALVIN HARRIS
The Scottish singer/song writer and record producer born 1984 in Dumfries has not always been a well known disco DJ before breaking onto the music scene he was being awarded for his shelf-stacking skills at Mark’s and Spencer’s’. He signed contracts with EMI and Sony BMG in 2006 due to being discovered on the networking site MySpace. He then went on to release his debut album ‘I Created Disco’ which was released at the end of June 2007. The music from this album is upbeat and blends dance, pop and new wave into one distinctive sound. It’s strongly influenced by 1980’s music which helped him name his first released charted single ‘Acceptable in the 80’s’ it reached the top 10 and stayed there for 15 weeks. He also had great success with his second single one of his most recognisable songs ‘The Girls’ which reached the top 5. These songs were amongst his set last year at Wakestock and blew the crowd away. Harris has produced and co-written with Kylie Minogue on her album ‘X’ but one of his most famous collaborations is his massive number one hit ‘Dance Wiv Me’ which he recorded with Dizzee Rascal. CHICANE

Dubbed as the “Godfather of the Ibiza Anthem” Chicane take a Nomadic approach to modern electronic music, with no lead singer but instead of collective of artists and producers. Often pigeon holed a as dance act in the past, the current live show and new material showcase the bands efforts to push the boundaries of live electronic music. In recent years the Live Show has taken them from the enormity of Moscow’s Red Square through to The World Trade centre in Manila. THE NOISETTES

The Noisettes are a British rock indie band that formed in 2003. Shingai , Dan and Jamie all met each other at the BRIT school for Performing Arts and Technology in Croydon. In their first years as a band they started to write and perform at small gigs around London which then saw the release of their debut album ‘Three Moods of the Noisettes’ . Four years down the line with a few changes in the choice of record labels resulted in them going on to support bands such as Babyshambels, Muse and the Mystery Jets. This propelled them into gaining a wider fanbase. They then returned to the studio to complete their third album ‘What’s the Time Mr. Wolf?’ Their lastest single which appeared in a big television advert in January 2009 is the second single from their newest ablub ‘Wild Young Hearts’ and is the fantastic catchy ‘Don’t Upset the Rhythm.’ It is currently storming up all charts and has secured itunes number one spot for weeks. JAMES ZABIELA
A DJ from Southampton, James Zabiela is known as a Tech House DJ with use of Breakbeat music in the more flashy parts of his set. He is highly regarded for his turntable skills and his extensive use of loops and effects. James started Djing back in 1994 when he was just 15, however it was in 2000 that obtained recognition by winning the Muzik Magazines Bedroom Bedlam Competition, then in 2001 winning the title Best Bedroom Bedlam DJ. He has since gone on to sign with Sasha’s Excession Agency. Zabiela has now founded the record label Hearing Aid. NORMAN JAY
One of the most innovative and pioneering British DJs, Norman Jay started his musical journey playing unlicensed warehouse parties in the early 80’s. One of a select few DJs, he was awarded an MBE in 2002 for Services to music. In a career spanning over twenty years Norman Jay has always injected his rich musical heritage into whatever music he plays ranging from House, classic funk, soul and Jazz. MR SCRUFF

Mr Scruff, aka Andy Carthy, mad e a name for himself throughout the mid 90’s club scene in Manchester. He has since released three successful albums including ‘Keep It Unreal’ in 1999 and ‘Trouser Jazz’ in 2002. Mr Scruff was branded with his ‘legendary’ DJ status by his adoring fans rather than media based analysts by performing at a number of tours and clubs, and is now able to fill a 1600 London Forum with nothing more than his records and turntables. At his ‘Keep It Unreal’ nights you will find a great mix of genres and moods, tied together with Mr Scruffs’ love of music. TOMMY SPARKS

Tommy Sparks is one of those new electronic musicians with a pop agenda. Like Annie and Lykke Li and Sam Sparro and Frankmusik, you can tell from his music and the way it's been assembled that he's had a techno past and a hip-hop phase and that he's maybe even flirted with grunge. But everything he's done and everything he knows is now being focused towards the creation of the catchiest songs he can manage. This man is quite a character and it is reflected in his music which is sure to get the crowds going in 2009.

KISSY SELL OUT
Starting out originally as a fashion designer Kissy Sell out nowadays play’s his trade as a music producer and electro DJ. He also has his own show on Radio 1 at Friday 00:00-02:00. His influences range from Sonic Youth, Daft Punk and dance producers such as DFA and Headman. An underground sensation his debut album is due to be released in early summer 2009 and is based his childhood experiences in Essex. DJ FORMAT
DJ Format hails from Brighton and is one of best Hip-hop DJs in the country. Starting out as a bus driver for Jurassic Five and he also opened DJ Shadows tour in 2002. His album “If You Can’t Join ‘Em.... Beat ‘Em” was voted as one of the top 100 hundred albums of 2005.He is inspired and influenced by 80’s and early 90’s hip-hop, James Brown, funk and jazz. WALLY LOPEZ
Spanish born Wally Lopez, Started his DJ career at the early age of 13 broadcasting Dance music in the early hours of the morning on a Spanish radio station. Following this early success, he then went on to work for top Spanish Radio stations, such as Maxima FM and Flaix FM. Lopez, then began touring major clubs worldwide, supporting celebs such as Paul Van Dyk and Pete Tong. In 2000 Lopez launched his own record label ‘Weekend Records’, remixing big names such as, Bob Sinclar and Robbie Rivera. Wally also had his first international hit ‘Amman’ in 2000. However, it was 2004 that saw Wally Lopez become the artist he is today, after remixing ‘Just a little more love’, which became a worldwide hit, he became the winner of the 2004 DJ Awards. Now thought to be the most internationally renowned Spanish DJ, Wally Lopez has played across Europe and performed at festivals such as, Creamfields and Global Gathering. GOLDIEROCKS
For a self-taught DJ, producer and MC, Goldierocks has done a pretty solid job of getting her face all over the place. From performing at almost every festival you can think of, to garnering a solid reputation on the, some would say, saturated London DJ scene, to commanding her own radio show on Diesel:U:Music. She has hacked out a big niche in the scene and is now sitting in it, waiting for greater things in 2009, which includes DJ-ing and compering at Relentless Wakestock 2009. EBONY BONES
Ebony was formerly known as Yasmin from Channels Fives Family Affairs but more recently is known for her musical talents. Ebony Bones writes, produces, plays various instruments and sings all her own music. Having performed at Glastonbury twice already Ebony recently performed in New York for the Barrack Obama Concert in 2008. Bringing her live show complete with sexy dancers, live band and post punk electro sound, she is certain to be a hit at this year’s Wakestock. BRANDON BLOCK
Brandon is well known for his uplifting party house music. He is a unique and entertaining DJ, infamous for causing havoc amongst the crowds at his performances (watch out for him in the crowds at Wakestock). Brandon has very eclectic taste and is happy to play anything that will get the crowd moving. Brandon’s DJ career started back in the 80’s becoming wellestablished on the south England club scene, his reputation grew and he took a trip over to Ibiza and became an essential part of the island’s legacy. Throughout the nineties he claimed residencies at every big nightclub in Ibiza and was part of the Original Flying Group with friends Charlie Chester and Dean Thatcher. As well as being a renowned DJ, Brandon is no stranger to TV performances, appearing on The Brit Awards, MTV Europe Tour and a number of chat shows. Brandon regularly plays at a

LET'S GO TO WAR
Canandian electro/disco house/breakbeat band Lets Go To War with members Henry Walter, Adrien Gough and Peter-John Kerr have opened for M.I.A. and Santogold, and performed at the Virgin fest. The band wrote the music for Britney Spears' track "Mmm Papi," which appears on her most recent album Circus. Based in Toronto the band are coming across the pond to play Wakestock and they can’t wait Myspace

DIRTY GOODS
This Newport band are making waves with their electro dance rock fusion. Dirty Goods include Woody and Wylee, formerly of Jump the Underground who were dubbed by the NME as 'super scratchy indie-ists'. The four-piece band's influences include Daft Punk, Justice, CHROMEO, Rick James and Prince with other bits and pieces thrown in for good measure. Lead singer Wylee describes their debut single Honest as simply 'an honest tune, it's as honest as it gets'. Woody told us "After Jump the Underground, we were looking to change direction a little with Dirty Goods.” Which is exactly what they have found. Myspace

TIM LYALL
Tim’s DJ’ing career began 14 years ago filling in for a Miss Moneypenny’s DJ. He later flourished at classic venues such as The Gardening Club and the legendary Madisons in Bournemouth. With a growing reputation, he went on to play across the UK at The Cross, Peach, Po Na Na, Evolution, Club M, the Tunnel, Roar, Escape, Passion and many more. Tim has rocked huge crowds across the UK at Homelands, VFestival, South Coast Weekender, Wakestock and numerous Slinky Arena Tours and we welcome him back to Wakestock this year to celebrate our 10th birthday.

THE PART TIME HEROES
The Part Time Heroes aka PTH Projects are a duo consisting of Shop Boy and Sandwich Man currently residing in Southampton. The duo create down tempo jazz that draws influence from the legend Miles Davis, John Martyn and the Clash. The duo formed when they found themselves sharing a flat in 2005. Their two bedroom studios where then combined and PTH Projects was born. Drawing comparisons with St Germain, Portishead and Groove Armada, the duo use an eclectic mix of different tempos, live instrumentation, deep jazz roots and organic soul to create an exciting and fresh sound.
