at the Penrhos site. The weather just about held off for most of the
evening and the sun kept making the occasional appearance as thousands

some of the worlds best wakeboarders. The Vans Rococo Rail Tour
returned for the third year bringing live wakeboard action to the
festival site. The music site opened at 3pm and the crowds filled the stunning
festival site to witness the likes of legends Groove Armada, Pendulum,

jumping as Wakestock 2008 welcomed the loyal fans back to the site in

Pwllheli Marina for a chance to go through to the pro competition over
the weekend. Top place in the men’s qualifiers went to David Coat who
pulled off a great run to secure his place in the pro competition. He
was closely followed by George Newell who beat Oliver Ross into third
place. 7 out the men made it through including Andy Harris, James
Chappel, Solid Jim, James Walker, david Coat, George Newell and Oliver
Ross will go on to compete in today. Down on Abersoch Main Beach many had made their way onto the sand to
see a test of style and brawn in the Big Air Competition. The rules are
simple, one kicker and the best trick wins. The winner will be
announced on stage on Sunday night winners ceremony. Tickets are still available to buy on the gate so get yourselves down there and be part of something amazing!
