R.A.F. CONFIRM THEIR FALCONS, TYPHOONS & DAKOTA DISPLAYS

The ROYAL AIR FORCE have just confirmed they will be showcasing even more aeronautical craziness than we’ve ever seen in the past. Relentless Wakestock has built up a great relationship with the RAF over the years and we are very proud to be able to welcome them back as we enter our second decade. The crowds can look forward to spectacular displays from The RAF Falcons, The RAF Typhoons and a fly by from an RAF Dakota. After the stunning display by the Red Arrows last year there will be even more aerial stunts to witness above the stunning festival site in Penrhos.

The RAF FALCONS are widely recognised as the UK’s premier military Parachute Display Team. The Team is comprised of some of the best military parachute instructors in the world. They are looking forward to performing their spectacular, colourful and courageous aerial display over the Wakestock site on the Friday afternoon where they will perform a times drop, landing in full view of the crowds in the centre of the festival site. The Falcons will emerge from a Second World War RAF DAKOTA aircraft in the skies above the site.

The Falcons will share the airspace with the RAF TYPHOONS, a combat aircraft display team who tour the country in between continuing operational commitments. The Typhoon is an agile, single seat, multi-role aircraft optimised for high altitude supersonic air combat. They are renowned for providing awesome displays.
To make sure that you don’t miss out, get there early on the Friday afternoon as Norman Jay will be getting you in the festival vibe with his famous Good Times set & some outstanding prizes to give away just before they arrive!
