HAPPY MONDAYS PLAY AT BOTH ABERSOCH & BLENHEIM FESTIVALS
The
HAPPY MONDAYS rose to fame in the 80’s within the Manchester rave
scene, releasing classic albums such as Pills, Thrills and Bellyaches,
including huge hits like Kinky Afro and Step On. They have reformed and
are back and receiving critical acclaim with their album Uncle
Dysfunktion. The success of Dare, the Gorillaz single with vocals by
Mondays frontman and lyricist Shaun Ryder, put the band back in the
studio. Their recent comeback is a huge amount of fun and a reminder
that it's great that the Happy Mondays have never completely
disappeared, and can always re-ignite the nostalgia of the Madchester
glory days. For the legions of loyal followers of Shaun, Bez and co,
they will definitely satisfy and are an awesome addition to this years
line up.
