ESSENTIAL INFORMATION FOR RELENTLESS WAKESTOCK 09
The countdown has begun to Relentless Wakestock 2009 and with only 48 hours to go before the gates open for the 10th birthday celebrations we thought we’d make sure you were in the know about the weekend’s events!
We know that you’ll be trying to work out what bands you want to see, which wakeboarders you want to catch, what to wear and whether or not to bring your festival hat. We thought we’d put together an essential guide which will give you loads of really important info, tips and answers to any questions you might have to ensure that you make the most of your weekend in this stunning part of the world.
DIRECTIONS Don’t get lost on your way! Plan your journey in advance. If you are unsure of directions click here for more information. As you come into Pwllheli you can make use of the yellow AA direction signs to the festival site and the marina for the wakeboarding.
TRAVEL VIA NATION EXPRESS National Express is operating a bus service from Manchester to the festival site. There are a limited number of spaces still available. click here for more information.
CAR SHARE Please car share where possible and try to avoid busy commuter travel time. The event will be sign posted so follow the event road signs.
PARKING If you are planning to travel to the event by car and haven’t purchased a car parking ticket in advance, a limited number of car parking spaces will be available on entry to the car park for £10. Please note that if you have purchased a car parking ticket you will need to pay again if your vehicle leaves and re-enters the car park.
FESTIVAL COURTESY BUSES There will be courtesy buses running throughout the weekend to and from the surrounding villages so there is no need to drive off the site. The timetable is available to download from the Relentless Wakestock website or by CLICKING HERE.
CAMPSITE The campsite is just a short walk from the car parks. It opens at 1pm on Thursday. We don’t advise you get to the campsite too far in advance of the opening time, although you can queue in a grassy area with toilet facilities. Don’t forget your ticket to exchange for your wristband on entry.
