There are loads of great things in place for the campsite. They're all there for your entertainment and comfort while you're at Wakestock, so enjoy them and look after them. TOILETS & SHOWERS There are toilets in the campsites and the arena that are cleaned and emptied throughout the weekend. We all know that festival toilets can generally become unpleasant to use, so please help us by keeping them clean; it will be mutually beneficial. Always wash your hands after using the toilets. SHOWERS There are warm showers on the campsite which are available for all campers to use from 08.00 - 12.00 and 16.00 - 22.00 each day . At peak usage time which is normally in the morning, the water pressure can be slower. Again respect the festival vibe and do your bit to keep the showers clean. DRINKING WATER There are standpipes that contain FREE drinking water in the campsites and the arena, please bring a plastic container that you can refill no more than 1 litre. You can also purchase water and other soft drinks at the catering units throughout the site. RUBBISH - RECYCLING There are plenty of bins provided, which are emptied during the weekend. Bin bags are provided in the campsites. REMEMBER: Wakestock is by the sea and so seagulls hang out here. The dirty birds love leftover food, so please put rubbish properly in the bins or seal your bin liners and keep out of sight whenever possible. CLOAKVROOM We advise that you avoid bringing any valuables to the festival, but if you do feel the need to then make use of the CloakVRoom for secure lockers. FOOD STALLS There's plenty of these with a variety of choice to keep you stocked up with the fuel you need for a good weekend. FAIRGROUND We've got a mini fairground in the campsite and a bigger one in the festival site. This year for all campers the festival site is open on the Thursday so you can get stuck into some fairground fun right from the word go. Remember to secure anything of value before getting on the rides! CAMPSITE SHOP The team at Snowdonia Adventure will have a fully stocked camping shop to cater for all your needs while at Wakestock, from the basic bits you may have forgotten to full festival camping packs equipment. THE BIG TENT RECYCLE You can WIN FESTIVAL TICKETS with the Better Festival Group’s BIG Tent Recycle Project at Wakestock. The project aims to tackle the large amounts of re-usable waste left behind at festivals which is traditionally sent to landfill. We encourage people to take their re-usable items home or if you don’t want to take them home you can donate them at a designated place before you leave site. The Better Festival Group’s volunteers will them sort these items and pass them onto organizations who can re-use and benefit from them. Everyone who donates items will be entered into a prize draw where you can win prizes including free festival tickets. Information on the items you can donate will be available during the weekend so make sure you check out the list and help us reduce the amount of perfectly good camping equipment sent to landfill each year.
